About us
Ample Café & Bar has been proudly family owned and operated since 2013, serving the North Melbourne community for over 12 years. More than just a café, Ample is a local institution—known for great coffee, honest food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Located in a spacious converted warehouse on Arden Street, our venue blends industrial charm with natural warmth. Think polished timber tables, recycled pallet couches, exposed brick walls, and soaring vaulted ceilings—flooded with natural light from expansive windows and skylights. The space is open, airy, and filled with character—designed to feel both vibrant and relaxed.
While we’re known for our food and coffee, Ample is also a versatile destination offering a range of services:
All-day café serving seasonal dishes and house-roasted coffee
Two private meeting rooms for hire by the hour (with Wi-Fi, whiteboards, and TVs)

Our fresh produce is all hand-picked from Victoria Market to ensure only the best of the best hits the table. We focus on sourcing as much as possible locally, helping support local small businesses as much as possible.
Our Layout.
A spacious converted warehouse with an inviting and modern design. Our layout features large polished tables, sky-high vaulted ceilings, and warm wooden elements throughout. Functional recycled furniture complements the space, adding character and sustainability to our aesthetic.
Our meeting rooms are designed for both privacy and connection, featuring expansive windows that overlook the café, allowing natural light to flow in while keeping the space bright and open. Skylights throughout the building enhance the airy ambiance, creating a fresh and uplifting environment.
